What Matters Most
Life is all about LOVE
Learning to love unselfishly is not an easy task. This is because by nature we a selfish. As Christians, we are told to live a life of love, which is my on going mission now. God wants his family to be known for its love more than anything else. Jesus said our love for each other- not our doctrinal beliefs- is our greatest witness to the world.
The Bible says " let love be your greatest aim" . That is why in my earlier blogs I stated that relationships must have priority in your life above everything else. Life without love is really worthless.
Often we act as if relationships are something to be squeezed into our schedule. We talk about finding time for our family or making time for people in our lives. That gives the impression that our relationships are just a part of our lives along with many other task.God says relationships are what life is all about.
All the Ten Commandments are about relationships. After learning to love God, which is worship, learning to love others should be your second purpose in life. Relationships, not achievements or the acquisitions of things, are what matters most in life.
Busyness is a great enemy of relationships. We become preoccupied with making a living, paying our bills, work, and accomplishing goals as if these are the point of life. They are not. The point of life is learning to love. God and people.
Love will last forever. The greatest is love
