One word. It is a privilege to do what I do here with Malaysian Christian Memes. I acknowledged that God who enables me is in total control of this. Here is me sharing the vision because this vision is held not just by one person. What do I mean by that and how is Malaysian Christian Memes (MCM) going to move forward? I will break it down into three phases: 1. What did it initially start off as? 2. How did it evolve? 3. Where will it move towards (The part where is most fun)?   What did it initially start off as? First off, it didn’t occur to me the notion of God using memes for ministry. Meme creation or His glory. When I started this out, all I had in mind was I need to reach out to the younger generation and spark in them a love for Christ, why not through memes? The Spiritual MCO (Jesus and the church) Before anything, if anyone is interested to read a short article on what God is actually asking us to see in 2020, click here .   So, my fiancée and I, we video call often when we cannot meet each other for long periods of time. Why do we call? Because of that darn Movement Control Order. Because of that, we miss each other’s presence. Smelling her scent, holding her hand. The goodbye hugs. But now, I get to see her through a glass, hear her voice, and update each other on what matters. While video calls have stripped us down to focus on the important bits and not take each other for granted, it still does not beat the tangible physical presence of each other. And every time we video call each other we will always talk about the hope and the joy when we finally meet and get married (which is soon by God’s grace) and we end in prayer entrusting that God knows best and has the best timing. First off, I am in no way proposing a replacement of our Sunday meetings in church. I am in no way proposing a new way of how we should do church. Again, my definition of church in this context is a community of believers gathering together in the name of Christ. Being his ekklesia. More on that topic in this other blog post here.  AAAND I am not starting some heretical movement.
