Disappointment

Man. I am so disappointed in you. After everything we've been through. You can't remain.....never mind . it is infuriating to hear this news about you. And you rarely see me angry. Seriously....Rarely.

My Quiet moment.

The times when I am alone, I pray and be reflective on everything. I had a lot on my mind. Was reading the Bible when this verse came to me. Phllipians 4:6 "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done" (NLT). Being human, easier said. How is it that even though God has affirmed us so many times, we still worry and fail to put our trust in him? Yes the moment we worry we fail to put our trust in him. We are just human. Relationships are worth restoring

Just to be clear, when I said relationships I did not limit myself to just boyfriend/girlfriend but to every kind of possible relationships in this world. Relationships are always worth restoring. They are what matters most in life. Relationship with God,friends, siblings, with your boss, parents, soul mate, wife, children, etc. They build bridges between each other. If your live as a hermit, live within the shadows, think your are better off alone, then you wont grow. We can only grow in a community where we learn from our mistakes, humble ourselves,....wait getting off point here. Life is all about love. Love is the most powerful thing. We should learn how to love . For me, I would like to be in the ministry of restoring relationships. For those who do not know what ministry means, it means some kind of governing body or main focus in a job. For this case, governing body for restoring relationships. Theological reflections of a Theological Orphan

   Has anyone felt that as a Christian you see one denomination and you cannot fully agree, yet their answers fall short and you go to another Christian community and see gaps in their theology but are more loving. Then you enter another, and see their high level of orthodoxy but the orthopraxy aspect of their lives are a lackluster, lack for a better word. Then another who is so focused on fighting and speaking out against injustice like the days of the prophets. The list goes on. But you get my drift. Along the years of being part of all these communities I have deconstructed my theology and faith and reconstruct it with new convictions but yet such convictions never truly fit in any one community.
