Me and the Old Town Kopitiam waiter

Well today was quite interesting....Well I wont share all of them with you. But I'll share this hillarious event that took place today. Me and my friends decided to have dinner at Old Town Kopitiam at Bangsar LRT Station. So we chat, laughed, trade identification cards( IC ) to see at their pictures....and try not to laugh. After eating.... I called the waiter for the receipt. Put up my hand, made a circle in the air indicating an image of a sort of receipt. So he came and this what happened... Waiter: Bill? Me: Erm... No I am not Bill, I am Eddryll . ( Group burst into laughter) Waiter: Oh I am sorry Me: Erm sorry yeah I want the bill please...^^ Waiter: Oh..oh ok .( smiling ) When he brings back the receipt Me: Sorry man...I just had to try and see what happened. Waiter: It is Okay... and nods with a pleasant smile. Yeah! I just had to try. Hahaha It was funny and fun. Well one of my readers has asked me to post about my theme on my blog..  Her name on my comment...

College LiFe

The hard part has yet to come. So, college life...ah, you youngsters( younger than me) would surely like to know how I feel, my point of view regarding this matter.  Everything is different. People change. They tell me " I use to be introvert not as noisy as I am now ", or " I am not smart, seriously! " ( But she got a scholarship). Classes are different from school. People are more open. They are easier to communicate with.  Basically, for me, everything I say or do in class seems to be funny. The irony is that, I had no intentions to make them laugh. But yeah it is fun.  There is a girl who is always blur like constantly saying..." Whaaaaat????" There is a girl who is so bored cause she lives in the HELP residency that she plays facebook everyday. People that are high( excited), People that are cocky, People that are friendly, funny, all sorts\ Girls that hit me with no apparent reason, Guys that say the will suffer in calculus class but fin...

Why we face troubles

Many of our troubles occur because we base our choices on unreliable authorities: 1. culture:" Everyone is doing it" 2.traditon:" We've always done it" 3. reason:" It seemed  logical" 4.emotion:" It just felt right " All four of these are flawed by the Fall. Besides, notice that the choices made based on no.3 and no.4? The key words were 'seemed' and 'felt'. The choices you made were based on mere feeling and made without depth. We need a perfect standard that will never lead us in the wrong direction. God's Word meets that need. Every word of God is flawless. I give the root of the problem, but the answer is up to you to decide. Points taken from Purpose driven life book.

A place for prayer. hahaha....Ahem Ahem...serious serious man. Erm so... My best friend was like saying " damn for 18 hours I have no water. The pipeline must be broken or something. I am thirsty, etc ". So I told him in the chat box in facebook that I'll pray for him. So I clasp my hands in front of the computer and prayed," Lord, I pray that you provide water for him now oh Lord. Let him know that You are G OD. ". Guess what? After like 1 minute, he replied "YES!!! I JUST REMEMBERED HAVING 100 PLUS IN MY CABINET WATER OH YEAAA!!! and100 plus can give me some energy." The Lord answer my prayer. Then I said to him " darn darn I cant find my scientific calculators. I need them for my calculus ". So he goes on and say, " I shall pray for you " and I was like, yeah do that bu...

What is real FELLOWSHIP

As I have learned, life is meant to be shared. " Fellowship " now usually refers to casual conversation, socializing, chit-chatting , and having fun in any place be it the church or cafes. Real fellowship is much more than showing your face. According to this book I have been reading, it includes unselfish loving, honest sharing, practical serving, sacrificial giving and sympathetic comforting. In real fellowship, people experience authenticity. it is not superficial or just one simple surface-level chit-chat. It is genuine, heart to heart, at times gut-level sharing. In my experience I am proud to say I have had many. This happens when people be honest with themselves and what is happening in their lives. They share their hurts, confess failures, reveal their feelings. Practically show their true self.    These days, there is pretending, role-playing, politicking, plus superficial politeness but shallow conversations. People wear mask, keep their guard up...

Yeah fun day but do not want to bore you with the details. But today...So my class starts at 8.30 am. Took the LRT and the bus. Went to the lecture hall and there were my orientation friends right there. So started talking and all.( Ok this is boring for you). Lecture came in a started ice-breaking activities.....CUT CUT CUT CUT Now that was hours ago. Now it is 10.30 am. Enlglish lecturer came in. I know the name but too many details. So his ice-breaking activity was to get a partner and share to each other about their names, hobbies, and their imaginery partner. I got a girl and I was told to share in first person pronounce. So I had to say ' I am ' and the person I am sharing about is a girl. So i was like " hi I am the adorable Adeline ". And each of them took their turns. Funny as I laughed till my ab...
